Jeremy Yaddaw is a drummer, percussionist and copyist/arranger living in New York's Capital Region. His musical training began at the age of 5 with piano lessons. His involvement in a fife and drum corps led him to study percussion in high school. Upon enrolling at the College of Saint Rose in Albany, NY Jeremy studied percussion with Dr. Robert Hansbrough and began jazz drum set study with Matthew Cremisio. In college he played in the Wind Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Ensembles under the direction of Matthew Cremisio and Paul Evoskevich.

Soon after graduating Saint Rose in 2004, Jeremy assembled what would become the Nick Venti Jazz Quartet with Nick Venti on tenor sax, Mike Lawrence on bass, and Erica Seguine on piano. Seguine was replaced after leaving for Eastman by guitarist Shaun McCarthy and the quartet remains active in its current form, playing in the Albany, NY area.
Jeremy currently lives in Mohawk, NY with his wife and teaches 7-12 band at Richfield Springs High School in Richfield Springs, NY. He remains active as a performer and has specialized in playing pit orchestras for local and regional groups. Recently he has performed shows for Hamilton College, Guilderland High School, Proctors Theater, The Glove Theater, The Actors Company and many area high schools.
