Mike Blostein has been playing and teaching int he Capital District for the last 20 years. Currently the instrumental music teacher at Averill Park High School, he holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Crane School of Music, and a Master's Degree in Music Composition from the University of Arizona. An active performer, he has performed regularly with the Georgie Wonders Orchestra, Brass-O-Mania, Capital Brass and The Old Time Dance Band, in addition to freelancing throughout the region.
