Originally from the Rochester area, I recently moved to Albany to pursue a graduate degree in Public Administration at Rockefeller College. Outside of academia, music has always been a big part of my life. I began studying jazz guitar in middle school with Gary Manuel of Manuel's Music Studio in Fairport and more recently Bob Sneider at the Eastman School of Music. I've played in Fairport High School's Jazz Band under the direction of Bill Tiberio, as well as Syracuse University's Morton Schiff Jazz Ensemble under Joe Riposo and John Coggiola. In addition, I've played in a number of small jazz combos, as well as funk/fusion groups in Syracuse. Influences include but are certainly not limited to Pat Metheny, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Eric Krasno, Trey Anastasio, and others. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me to arrange a jam session!
