Michael Roach is a pianist, multi-keyboardist, and composer. He is originally from New York City, but now resides in the Capital District Region. He received training in classical and popular piano as a youngster. He has had the opportunity to play many different genres of music including: Jazz, Rock, Pop, Classical, and Rhythm and Blues. Michael also plays in various musical situations including: solo, duet, and trio formats.

Michael has performed at venue/spaces such as: The Whitney Museum of American Art, Symphony Space, the Black Rock Coalition Festival in New York City, the Black Expo, Albany's Lark Fest, and the Albany Tulip Festival.

He is also an integral part of the jazz trio, TEN27, which has a configuration of piano/keyboards, cello/bass, and drums. With this trio, in addition to playing piano, he plays synthesizer, a vintage Fender Rhodes, and a Wurlitzer electric piano.
