Nitro Jive is a unique band to the upstate New York region. Since their debut in 2006, they have brought their high-energy style of Jump,Blues and Swing to audiences of all ages.

Nitro Jive's sound is heavily influenced by the horn driven Jump and Swing bands of the late 1940's and modern bands like Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Brian Setzer and Royal Crown Revue.

Fronted by Billy Deuel, a swingin' male vocalist and excellent showman, Nitro Jive delivers a vibe and show that swings the audience with toe- tapping grooves. The smokin' hot rhythm section of Jeff Dowd on drums, Sam Farkas on guitar and Kevin Norris on bass deliver the pulse of the music. Eric Walentowicz / saxes, Peter Bellino / trumpet and Ken Olsen / trombone combine their considerable talents to provide one of the very hottest horn sections heard anywhere.

Nitro Jive remains a favorite among the swing dancers, drawing record- setting crowds to the Saratoga Savoy Diamond Dances and Spa City Swingers dance events. Their appearances at events like Downtown Albany's Lunchtime Concert Series, Summertime Park Concerts and The Saratoga Polo Club prove they can “wow” an audience of listeners as well.
